The Canadian Wargamers Group (CWG) started in 1985 with the publication of The Canadian Wargamers Journal.  47 issues were published over the years until our last one in 1998.  Many miniatures rules books were also published and continue to have a dedicated following. Fallcon (Calgary's best boardaming convention) got its start thanks to CWG.

The founder of CWG, Keith Martens is currently in Australia.  Bruce McFarlane is still a prolific writer with most of his publications available here.  Many others were associated with CWG throughout the years.  Without Keith and Bruce's energy and hardwork there never would have been a CWG.  They are two of the most amazing guys around.  Currently I am responsible for keeping the stock.  Getting this website up and running is - hopefully - the first step towards rejuvenating CWG and to the eventual publication of more books (late-2007 is our next target date) but more on that later.

Thanks to all of those who supported us in the past and thanks to all of those who grew frustrated trying to get a hold of us but could not.  Now you can. - Ken Hole
